At a Papal Audience in the Vatican I had the privilege of personally presenting my portrait of Pope Francis to His Holiness.(Oct. 6, 20210) When Pope Francis was appointed and first appeared on the balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square he said to the crowd “Please Pray for Me.” A profound statement by a Pope that touched my soul and my sculpture was conceived in my mind that day. I am pleased to share my portrait of Pope Francis with you to celebrate him. Pope Francis was Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina and served as Bishop in my hometown of Cordoba Argentina.
