Estela Monjo Boudreau
Born in Cordoba Argentina, I have lived in the USA for over 55 years.
Soon after graduating from college in Argentina, with an Early Education degree and a major in English, I got married and we moved to the USA where I began to create my own kindergarten giving birth to five children.
Now I have 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren who continue to give me the kindergarten setting that I love.
My sculptures are at the Vatican in Pope Francis’ personal collection, Shalem Institute, Washington DC and in private collections in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Michigan, Oregon, Louisiana, California, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Virginia, Utah, Alberta Canada, and Argentina.
My sculpture portfolio is displayed at https://sculpturesbyestela.com. My studio, Galeria Mariposa, is in Grosse Pointe Shores, MI.
I am a lover of nature and walk outdoors daily. My passions are meditation, healthy living, conscious cooking and eating, creating flower gardens, wild bird watching, and reading non-fiction.
My postgraduate education was at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Washington DC where I earned degrees in Spiritual Direction, and Contemplative Prayer Groups Formation.
My sculpting training was private lessons and mentoring from a local sculptor for 20 years, supplemented by classes at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit.
